Job Summary

The Network Analyst II will help our communities thrive by developing and deploying network strategy to enable business for both internal and external customers. The role will be responsible in constructing and implementing both operational workflow, network adoption strategies and health analytics. The Network Analyst II will support Catalyst's Medicare Advantage, Medicare, and/or Commercial blocks of business. Partnering across business units to research and investigate key business problems through quantitative analyses of utilization and healthcare cost data, providing management with meaningful statistical findings and conclusions, and identifying potential areas for medical cost improvements and alternative pricing strategies.

Role and Responsibilities

Leverages, manages, and innovates with vendors, team members, and other 3rd party relationships to implement efficient and cost-effective solutions
Works across business units to gather specifications and ensure solutions are delivered on time and to specifications
Drives the architecting, design, development and maintenance of business intelligence solutions
Set up and facilitate meetings with multiple business units to address business needs and develop solutions according to vision.
Identifies business teams needs for current and future product features to improve operating efficiencies and growth
Works with technology and business teams on product feature prioritization driven by ROI to build product roadmaps
Works closely with the development and design teams, creating mockups, specifying the requirements for developers and tracking work progress
Specifies business readiness criteria (UAT) for a product feature, conducts/coordinates business readiness checks and coordinates product release
Participates in the Daily Scrum and Sprint Planning, making sure the development team has a clear understanding of the user stories and know exactly what must be developed
Performs the evaluation of payer proposals and contract performance for capitation arrangements and other value-based contracts
Identifies potential areas for medical cost improvements
Turns data into usable information by telling the story through data visualization
Performs drill-down analysis to identify medical cost trend drivers
Works cross-functionally and supports achievement of operating plan targets
Designs and develops data queries, analyze reports to measure utilization, cost, descriptive statistics, network performance, and develops presentations for stakeholders
This position will work with large data sets and see projects from conceptualization to completion by contributing to all aspects of the analytics lifecycle
Serves as a resource to other analysts and provides information and training as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

3-5 years of experience in healthcare services, specifically network operations
SQL experience preferred
Approaches any problem with outside-the-box thinking for solutions
Organized and experienced working with multiple teams in building consensus
Excellent written and verbal communication
Intermediate experience in building project plans, roadmaps and Tableau reports
Intermediate experience with conveying information through visuals such as charts, graphs, tables, etc.
Proficiency with Excel, MS-Access and Web-based query tools
Develop pioneering approaches to emerging industry trends
Bring innovative ideas and solutions to business problems
